- Environment Canterbury is the promotional name for Canterbury Regional Council and Metro is the promotional brand of the public transport system managed by Canterbury Regional Council.
- Environment Canterbury owns the copyright on the information.
- Where any of the information is used in any reports, publications, media statements or other documents, or oral statements or electronic record that is made available to any third party or the general public Environment Canterbury shall be attributed as the source of the information but no Environment Canterbury, Metro or Metroinfo branding or logo shall be displayed unless the prior agreement of Environment Canterbury is obtained.
- The user agrees that any application development using the information will not contain any advertising unless prior permission has been obtained by Environment Canterbury Regional Council.
- By using the information provided the user agrees to indemnify Environment Canterbury (including Metro, Metroinfo, any of Environment Canterbury other brand names or associated entities not states here) for any direct or indirect loss sustained as a consequence of a breach of any of these terms and conditions.
- Where any of the information is made available electronically on a publically displayed site the person making it available shall have the responsibility of ensuring that it is updated so that it is current at all times or is removed.
